This sounds similar to From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated. With the caveat that the main character here probably isn't an otaku in his fifties.
I prefer my BL adjacent series in the form of Crossdressing Villainess Cecilia Sylvie, but I might check this out. I've been enjoying my villainess series lately.

My immediate takeaway is the Heroine Asuka ends up falling for him without knowing he's a guy.
