I may still be half asleep but the new policy seems to be disingenuous. The authors should be identified if they are interacting with fans in the comments.

Based on what was said in this article, I don't see why changing it would be beneficial to most people. Just seems like it mainly benefits the authors who are trying to defend their work while hiding who they are.

I suppose you could call sockpuppeting to defend your own comic... pathetic, I won't deny that, but I genuinely don't really think it matters much in the grand scheme of things, "exposing" people for minor sockpuppeting harms more than the sockpuppeting itself

Seems like every month I hear some new controversy or policy with Webtoon either about guideline changes, censorship, cancellation, or whatever.
