I could’ve sworn it was already there.

That’s super weird because it was on Crunchyroll for a long time. I did watched on their back in July 2022. I enjoyed it (first season was pretty good but after that was meh). I think it was out for a while like a couple weeks then just came back recently. Just my guess

Looks like the streams were given an update like First Pretty Cure & Air Master got a few years back since the old video was hardsubbed in English while this new video has them softsubbed with additional Spanish (LatAM & Spain) and Brazilian Portuguese options. Safe to assume the show can also be watched in Europe now?

Unfortunately they're using an older source because the next episode previews are still placed after the EDs which was not how it was broadcast nor placed on the 2008 Japanese DVD Box which Discotek used for all of their releases.

I see, thank you for this information, and this makes sense after reading your post.

Yeah like everyone else I thought they already had it. I remember being disappointed by the subtitle timings and decided to get the Discotek Blu-ray release and it was a huge improvement both in video and subtitles.

I had been holding off on a rewatch as I had pretty high hopes for the new retelling, but to say it looks awful is an understatement.

I have a lot of love for the original series, but it definitely had pacing issues, and some of those early episodes they clearly had no real budget to work with.

Also just realized I have a copy of the movie I haven't seen yet.... I'll be sticking the classic version

So to update on this, I looked at a few more episodes on Crunchyroll earlier and as it turned out, it's only episodes 1-48 which has the previews placed wrong while 49-152 are fine.
