Great film! Although very light on action scenes, it more than made up for it in drama and political intrigue as well as romance.
Only downsides are that as middle chapter, not much of the main plot advanced and some of the action robot scenes were noticeably video gamey CGI compared to the quality of the first film. Some night time scenes were too dark to see, which might not be an issue if you watch it on more brightly lit IMAX screens. Direction, animation, character designs and everything else was on point though! Can't wait for the third part! |
