I guess the animation looks better than some other poor shojo adaptations but I worry if they’ll be able to maintain consistent quality and if they’re just showing us the best shots in the promo.

I wasn't expecting this work to be adapted after 30 years, but considering the number of modern isekais that are adapting right now... guess it would be unfair to skip one of the classics of the genre.
guess we will see how it does and if manages to get more seasons.

Can't say I'm too impressed by the animation, but it's exciting seeing these characters in color, and actually hearing them speak! All I really want from this adaptation is decent pacing -- I'd much rather see an incomplete adaptation than one that butchers through the source material in an attempt to too-quickly rush through the whole thing.
