During the first five minutes I figured this anime was going to be a drop, but it picked up for two reasons (1) I found the trash master scam cat kind of amusing. (2) The anime pulled out some unexpected touch's here and there, the biggest of course being the nature of the magic kiss that the MC was going to have to use to break the curse of her prince charming, which had me wincing and tutting and laughing at the same time, but also things like the huge book in the library opening to form a magic passageway, the Book of Providence being a talking runestone, etc.
So yeah, I'm in for a bit. |

I have many questions about this royal library, open to the public, filled with books that can cause harm just by reading them, with alarms to stop non-humans from touching them but tolerant of readers drooling all over the books, and having as its main decorative piece a magic portal to an even more absurdly-available library.

This is no Witch Hat Atelier that is for sure. I thought I get some more coming of age witch stuff here, I love shows like that. Little Witch Academia is one of my favorite anime of all time (the name of the school is that named one of the LWA characters or not), and shows like Once Upon A Witch's Death, etc. I thought I be getting that type of stuff, instead right off the bat fan service, and just the pervert nature of this world.
I will give it a chance, but wasn't what I signed up for it. And while we have the master / apprentice, he is also teaching a class, so it is a magical Assignation's Classroom thing, it is all over the place. But I will give it a chance. But coming up the same season of a critical acclaimed series like WHA, it is on thin ice. |

I am not sure what to feel, especially with Witch Hat Atelier being so close to it.
The show has some okay gags with the magic kiss being quite the surprise (not sure if a good or bad surprise though). Claude and Spica make for a fun duo with decent chemistry. I guess I will watch more. |

Sure, it's low ass (koff) I mean, low class - but the opening nightmare made me laugh.
For all the juvenile humor and snarky side characters, the show has a pretty upbeat tone and positive vibe. The golem battle was fun enough. I like it. |

Three episodes in and I am pleasantly surprised. With the addition of those quirky classmates there is a fun seeming cast. Claude and Spica still make for a fun pair with the former showing that he can be decent at times. The latter still has a lot to learn and catch up on but she already has come far compared to the start. Given the opening those cultists are sure to pop up again soon.
