I had a similar impression; it definitely felt like the pace picked up dramatically in the second half. I generally agree with Rebecca's evaluation, especially about the English dub. It was a bog-standard reverse harem series for me, with the only real difference being that Sooha could stand up for herself early on (was disappointed that she got handcuffed over the last 2-3 episodes, even though I understood that it was so the boys could show off), but I was still entertained just enough to watch it through to the end. I didn't pick up on the Sailor Moon story patterning as I watched it, but in retrospect, I have to agree that it was either consciously or unconsciously modeled on Sailor Moon. Doubt I'll watch it again, or any follow-ups that may get animated, but it wasn't a total waste of my time. |

I had a blast watching this with my friend. Whoever watched the newest episode last would live comment the experience so that was fun!
I agree on the animation except I think the first and last episode looked pretty good, especially how expressive the faces were. I had no knowledge about the bands that inspired the thing so I assumed the weird names was because those are the band members stage names but that was not the case! They didn't even seem that visually inspired by them since none of the IRL guys had a blue mullet |
