It's 100% worth a watch, since it's got a lot of the character Gintama has and NAZ while not very well known for their animation, did manage to make it look decent, it's on par with Garouden.

Always thought it was odd that they stretched out a one shot, but at least it doesn't sound like it turned out as bad as I would have thought.

As a Gintama fan, I found the series entertaining, but I agree that it dragged on longer than it should have (even though there are only seven episodes). Still, I loved the characters, and the show's humor reminded me of how much I used to enjoy Gintama; in fact, it made me start watching it again. Anyway, I highly recommend Dandelion if you're a Gintama fan and are familiar with its humor; if not, you might want to check out something else.
