I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that is useful for downloading Gackt or Akeboshi or other Japanese artists. I understand that there was a post like this a few topics down but those were radio websites and the download website wasn't helpful.

Those were merely sites that had ways to get music samples and such. We don't actually condone stealing/bootlegging, i.e. downloading mp3s. If you want to listen to Gackt, buy the CDs.
