I was wondering if any one knew why some of the shows that media blasters licensed where bought over in subs only and not dub. I think its annoying that they did that just because I'm probably one of the group that prefer to watch the dubs over subs. The shows I'm talking about are Girls High Teen Spirit, Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl, Sentimental Journey, Seraphim Call. I know 2 of those are a little older but still there sub only. than i'm not sure but does any one know if Ramen Fighter Miki will be dub or just sub?

The main argument I've heard for Media Blaster's sub-only releases has been that they have evaluated the cost to benefit ratio for these "niche" titles and decided that they will make more money selling the sub-only DVDs than they would selling bilingual DVDs. As basically no company actually gives out information like this, we really don't know the exact reasons.

As someone who is also in the camp of "I like English dubs," their strategy isn't earning anything from me but copious amounts of annoyance. I'm not sure, but I'd guess that Ramen Fighter Miki will be sub-only as well.
