Honestly, I'm a bit hesitant to post this topic, but here's an interesting article about Hello Kitty getting ready to turn 30.

Sales figures from Kitty merchandise is freaking astronomical!

The campaign reportedly caused riots in Singapore, as fans scrambled to get their hands on limited-edition figures of Hello Kitty

Now that's just freakin' hilarious. A toy that caused a riot. No, I don't think Winnie the Pooh will ever do that. I can't see five year olds lining up with cork guns and demanding toys from McDonalds.

Anyhow, I would like an all-exclusive Hello Kitty Bathroom decor, including the toilet seat. I would just love to see my husband's face when he gets back... Twisted Evil

Or maybe do that to a friend on one of those decorate the house programs! Haha

As a former employee of Mickey D's, I can tell you that many heinous crimes were committed in the name of beanie babies (including a shipment truck being HIJACKED in Chicago), so I guess that rioting over Hello Kitty isn't too much of a stretch.
