I got the first volume of this manga for my friend's birthday, read it, and thought it was really good. My question is this: is the rest of the series something that would appeal to a teenage girl that likes series like Gundam Wing, Fushigi Yuugi, Vampire Princess Miyu, and FAKE? I spend a lot of money on manga and anime and want to know if this will be worth it. thanks ^-^.

i think so though I'd say it leans more toward guys, haven't read it just reviews from my friends at anime-reviews.net but seen the anime

I've only seen the anime, but if the manga's anything like that, it's an absolutely wonderful series. Much different from Wing, Fushigi, or Miyu, though (can't speak for FAKE, never read it), as it's more comedy-oriented and has a notable military slant to it (not a bad thing by any means, it just enhances the action scenes and creates some fantastic comedy moments).
I'd definitely recommend it, as it's at least worth a look. |

Well.. I haven't read that much of the manga. >.> But as far as I know, it doesn't go into all the cool military stuff the anime did. It just sticks with hyjinks in school, like the new FMP series that's currently showing. *I think that's based off the manga* And then there's the FMP anime by gonzo, which I believe was based off novels. >.> I'm not an expert of FMP, so if anyone knows, I'd like to know what's what.
If you like Gundam Wing, I think you'll like the FMP manga. The manga has nice stuff most girls like every once in a while. |
