As far as I'm aware, Osamu Tezuka's Dororo was never finished. The series was canceled after four volumes and Tezuka went on to write other things. Yet, the Dororo page on Tezuka Osamu @World claims that Tezuka wrote a Dororo part two later on which concluded the story, and that it was published in a magazine called Broken-O. I can't seem to find any other sources that can confirm this info. Anyone have any idea if it's true?

That's news to my ears. I thought he never finished it... I hope that site is right though all the same
I also hope Vertical will publish the conclusion after the four volumes. Cool

Dororo was serialised in Shōnen Sunday and later Bōken'ō carried it. When Dororo restarted in Bōken'ō, Tezuka Osamu made a major alteration to a thing about a principal character's birth. But when the tankōbon of Dororo were edited, though the tankōbon version was compiled from Shōnen Sunday's Dororo chapters and Bōken'ō's Dororo chapters, the part which was related to the major alteration was omitted. Therefore, roughly speaking, the tankōbon version of Dororo consists of the Dororo manga serialised in Shōnen Sunday and some of the chapters of Dororo carried in Bōken'ō. To sum up, the tankōbon version of Dororo includes a part of the 'part two' of Dororo.

By the way, Young Champion carries Dororo Bon, which is a sequel to Dororo.
