Are the products on YesAsia bootlegs, or are they the real imports?
I am definetely interested in buying from them, but if the DVDs they sell are bootlegs than I'll leave them alone.
Thank you!

Hi just wanted to let you know that I've been purchasing items from yesasia since 2004 from a Playstation 2 to alot of other merchandise
including the whole collection of honey & clover (region 2) and so far all my anime are legit. The prices are reasonable and i love how the shipping is free if you buy $25.00 and up. In my 5 years of exprience of buying from them i have no complaints.
I hope you find this useful !

I've been purchasing from Yesasia even before they started direct distributing in Canada. I've never purchased any anime but I've bought lots of Japanese, Taiwan and Hong Kong music cds, movies and television dramas and they are all legit.
Though there was one time, the site offered a music cd of a visual-kei underground band for a really low price at $12 (it was a single). I belonged in the band's fangroup and I bought the single (which totaled about $50-60 CAD for only 4 songs and 2 instrumentals) from the band's site - it was a very limited edition cd. So I knew that the one offered on Yesasia had to be a bootleg and sure enough, a couple of days later they took it down.
