On Amazon.ca, it claims that it has Naruto 53 in stock, yet it is only going to be released on Dec.6th. So would they get the book in early or will it be delivered on the 6th? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

It's really a wildcard, if you get someone in the shipping department that doesn't know (most likely than not), they will ship it. If you get someone that's thinking "This shouldn't be out yet", they may have you wait until the official street date. You could probably dispute it anyways if they say "No, we messed up, but you aren't getting it yet", but I'm really not sure where their policy stands on that.

Could be that they somehow ended up getting some copies early but it's probably more likely that it's just an error.

I get manga early from Amazon.ca all the time. For example, I just got Ouran High School Host Club volume 17 and D.Gray-Man Illustrations, even though they are not out until December 6th.
I find that in general, through Amazon.ca, Viz manga ships out at least a week before the street date. I've seen a "shipping soon" notice almost 2 weeks ahead of time before. I totally believe they have the next Naruto manga in stock from my past experiences. I'm sure if you ordered it, it would ship out asap. |
