I no longer buy LE that only include the box, since I throw away my DVD clam shells and keep them in CD binders for space reasons. The few boxes I have kept include the wonderful box that comes with Berserk, which contains color images in the inside as well. I've also kept the Akira tin, and the nifty Escaflowne movie box. Most of the others (IE RahXephon, Noir, Hack) I bought for the free shirts and goodies. The best DVD goodies bundle IMO is the WHR DVD 1 box which includes a cool shot glass, and a nice shirt.

As long as the DVDs themselves are no different, I honestly don't care to play the LE game. I'll buy the DVD without the collector's box and save 5 bucks.

I think the only LE I have is the Escaflowne Box, and the only reason I have that is I was able to get a really good price on it. Most of the stuff that comes in an LE wouldn't really interest me anyway.

I don't usually buy the LE sets... I prefer not to have boxes, and don't really care about t-shirts, panties, figures, etc that may come with a set.
The only LE set that I set out to buy was the Evangelion Death and Rebirth and EoE Laserdisc set that came out in Japan five years ago.... and it came with all sorts of goodies... and cost about 250-300 bucks, but that's beside the point.... |

Speaking of limited edition DVDs, can the later .Hack//Sign Limited Edition boxes(2-6) hold all six of the DVDs?

No, just the DVD and CDit comes with (except Vol. 5 which came with a box for the CDs). BTW does anyone know what comes with Limited Vol. 6?

I unfortunatly never got to pick up the FLCL Vol. 3 w/Box. Sadness fills the air.

Actually... it can fit the first 6 DVD's in there... and that is the way it was designed. You just need to look at it again. |

Wasn't he talking about the limited edition covers that volumes 2-6 come with? The paper ones that surround the DVD and CD. I know the box that Vol. 1 came with holds all six.
Anyway to answer the question, I missed the Cowboy Bebop set (bought it on Ebay) and the FLCL vol.3 w/box (Right Stuf had it recently |

The LE of .hack//Sign 'Terminus' includes a second DVD which includes such fun things as episodes 27 and 28. From what I have been able to understand, episode 28 is the finality of the .hack saga (i.e. AFTER .hack//DUSK; which Bandai has just announced for April, I do believe). |

Actually, .hack//SIGN episode 27 "Intermezzo" is a prequel showing what Mimuru was like as a 'n00b' in The World. "Unison" occurs shortly after the fourth installment of the video games and features the game characters and the SIGN characters.

Well, according to the Encyclopedia/release .hack LE 6 has episode 28 while both versions have ep. 27.

What in the...
The regular edition has 2 bonus episodes. The LE edition has 3 bonus episodes. But .hack//SIGN only has 28 episodes. 26 + 3 != 28 EDIT: According to someone who somehow found a copy of it, episode 15: Evidence is on volume 6. |
