Having a 3.0 gpa and being "the life of the party" is a contradiction. :)

Edit: And why the f*ck is it only for the top 30 college campuses?! Considering only about 10% of undergrads make it to those universities, I would assume they'd look for colleges which have a higher student ratio.

Who knows, maybe they assume that the rest of us who dont attend those school are too stupid or something. I got accepted to about 4 or 5 of those schools, but decided to attend a different school for a specific program. Suddenly Im regretting that decision....

I wouldn't regret making a decision that's better for your long-term goals and life plans instead of making a decision based on enabling you to become a one-time promotional slave for the Cartoon Network.

Let's keep our priorities straight, shall we?

If the footballers at my school are any indication, it's nothing to run a 3.5 GPA and still have the time to drink your bodyweight in premium malt beverage.

But who am I to go against the herd on this one? OU SOONERS! WHOO! SOOOOOOOOOOOOONERS!

Perhaps I am blind, but where does it say you must be attending the Top 30 universities in the United States? If you mean the drop-down menu for college and it being limited to specific programs without an option for "Other" or to manually enter your school, those aren't Top 30 universities, I can assure you.

I'm just merely satisfying my curiosity. I graduated college three years ago so this contest is a moot point for me anyway. :)

How in the hell did they generate that college list anyway? The ad is misleading. So, they only want college reps from those select campuses. That's absurd. Oh well, I'm sure the people at my university can figure out for themselves what they like to watch on TV.
But trust me, those are in no way the top 30 universities. In fact, out of the list, I think only 2 of them are actually ranked in the top 30. (Grr... I can't believe my school got thrown out of the top 15. Damn those US News bastards.)

I don't even see this as making sense? I mean, Daewoo tried the same stunt to sell cars a few years back. Does anyone here see campuses filled with Nubiras and Leganzas? Seriously folks, Adult Swim needs a transfusion of serious effort to get out of its current funk. Toonami backfill and randomly generated playlists do not a great segment make.

Of course, I'm still pissed that they ditched Mission Hill for that worthless Ripping Friends show.

There's only 13 episodes of Mission Hill. You gotta give it a rest for a bit. And Ripping Friends has its fanbase, notably the OLD-SKOOL animation fanbase that reads sites like Cartoon Research (i.e. ME).

I also remember reading an ad in the classifieds section of the school paper looking for people to promote electric scooters on campus. I, personally, know at least a dozen UA Adult Swim afficionados, and I think I've seen about 3 or so students using electric scooters.

I'm sorry if I offended the "old schoolers". I do that a lot. But when I see the witty cynicism of Mission Hill, I see what Adult Swim sundays could be; a showcase for cartoonists who don't want to be pigeonholed into writing fart jokes for the rest of their lives. Am I wrong, or does that sound like a good idea?

I'd trade stupidity for sarcasm any day.
