Easily one of the most fun anime I have ever watched. It's also one of the few, and one of the first period, anime to feature an openly gay couple that isn't used for laughs, perversion, or is totally stereotypical.
Sounds like the announcement is about the new anime, which we all know is a manga-adaption ala Sailor Moon Crystal. I actually don't think I would like that, my partner owns the manga and the original anime DVDs(the ones that are like, insanely expensive now) and he says the anime fleshes everything out a lot better and is less rushed than the anime is, and is more fun in general.

I hope that its NOT an anime. id like for the manga to progress a lot further before an anime is made.

I hope not. The original addaptation went so far off the original source material and, by some miracle, managed to produce a product better than it's source. It's dountful they would put that much in again, so a re-addaptation based strictly on the manga would feel like a downgrade.

The original series seriously needs to be redubbed, Cause that Animax dub was ass.

I have a feeling that the news could be a new anime show of CCS...or maybe a new film. In any case, I hope the reveal will be a fun sight.

If a new anime series is to be announced, it'll be interesting to see how CCS will look in CG. Both the anime series and its two movies were cel based.

The only mistake I see in the new arc is that they use modern technology. A new anime could hardly be called a sequel if it glaringly uses new tech.
