Sounds good. bet it will have an off the wall ending like his other stuff but anyway. Still sounds good!! I loved his Hanako & the Terror of Allegory manga so hopefully it'll be similar. I like the whole crazy detective trope thing.
And MCs don't look like Yuno & Yuuki recolours.

Mayumi relies upon the spirit of the legendary detective Kogoro Akechi to solve case

Can I rely upon the spirit of Hermione Granger so I can be intelligent

Hopefully it won't be a total disaster like Big order and will actually be good like Future Diary. Kinda doubt it though but that may just be my pessimistic side speaking.

Aw, but that's what I enjoyed about Big Order! It was a sumptuous feast of nonsense and asspulls. Gloriously fun-terrible.

Am I the only one who realized that Future Diary was garbage before Big Order was even conceived? Now that a third one is coming out, I just have to say... I NEED to see this trainwreck!

Fab news, I always look forward to his works as they never disappoint and this sounds like it could be great if it makes good use of the detective elements, can never have enough detective style series as far as I'm concerned.

Loved Future Diary and Big Order, both hugely enjoyable series with a couple of flaws on the latter sure but I always eagerly awaited the new episode or chapter for them. Just hope someone licenses this, we got Big Order from Yen Press but no Future Diary rescue yet.

If this somehow becomes adapted I will be skipping it. Kind of bored with anime versions of Akechi.

I haven't seen Big Order. In fact I intentionally avoided it. But Future Diary is the definition of an F in my books so I'm honestly not sure why only Big Order got slammed as this hilarious morally reprehensible trash heap of a series.

Maybe it's because the anime fandom is different to what it was back then, maybe it's because the target audience graduated from middle school. Who knows really?

well, nto thrid one , he made a manga about urban misteries before; and since he keeps on becoming worse, that measn the previous manga is better than future diary.

Anime hyper there there.
