I'd imagine it'll be even harder to adjust to this new norm on the Japanese side of things, given the propensity for group recording sessions.

Not that the Japan didn't do their own dumb stuff, but to be fair, no place in the world was ready for situation like this. But we are flexible enough to adapt and this article is good example of that.

To be fair, Japan's been doing a lot of dumb stuff too (This is a pen; no screaming at amusement parks, etc). The anime industry is just taking things more seriously.

The US anime dubbing industry has also been doing a very professional job of keeping their voice actors safe during this pandemic by doing more stay at home dubs. But I’m glad the MHA staff is taking things seriously to protect their cast.
