On the contrary, Japan's second wave is in full swing. Just a few days ago, Tokyo broke its previous record of new daily infections, yet everyone keeps walking around like nothing's going on.

Damn that sucks hopefully he gets better soon, also I’m assuming this is why Kamen rider was trending on Twitter earlier.

Correction: People who tested positive to PCR tests. Which means absolutely nothing unless more important data is known, such as symptoms or lack of them, severity, viral charge of the test....
The Japanese press, instead of screaming like madmen, could (and it would be far more useful) press the government to fund a research to assess the actual infectivity of the so-called asymptomatic people (the same applies to the rest of the world, actually).

No, Rider was trending because the movie Heisei Generations Forever was streaming in America. Then James Gunn started tweeting about it and things kind of blew up from there.
