I guess this is from their GKIDS partnership that's also letting them stream the Ghibli movies. Interesting the newer Re:Zero's on there though. Wonder what will happen once Crunchyroll goes over to Sony.

So there is a dub of Re:Zero Director's Cut? Interesting that they announce it for HBO Max before Crunchyroll.

Glad to know I can stream these now, I've been hoping watch them for a while.

I'm surprised they're releasing a dubbed version of the director's cut. I guess it's the perfect way to binge Re:Zero and they only needed to record a few new lines of dialogue. Will this include a dub of Memory Snow and The Frozen Bond?

I was just about to buy the physical release of Promare at walmart. Looks like I can hold off for now.

Different licence agreements. Warner has to get a licence per streaming service and with them selling Crunchyroll why would they licence new content for them when instead they could licence it for their all in one streaming service HBO Max?

Crunchyroll has directly announced before that Frozen Bond will get a dub, but they have not said anything about Memory Snow. However, Memory Snow is already streaming subbed on HBO Max in the S1 Director's Cut, but Frozen Bond is not streaming in any way there. So I will be interested to see what happens.

There really isn't a need if you ask me, since all of the changes are incredibly minor, and the post-credits scene they ended with was dubbed in the beginning of S2.
