Never been a fan of the openings mostly because they don’t usually have interesting visuals. But I suppose there isn’t much you can do with an episodic mystery show. Still there are a few good ones and at the very least the music is usually good.

Conan has sooo many great Openings, I loved seeing them all in one video like this.
Definitely many all-time definitive anime openings in here.

Much appreciated, since they seem to be extra litigious and you basically can't find good quality versions of these on Youtube without added stuff on the screen to trick the bots

I honestly like a good chunk of the openings and endings, but I do appreciate the ones that go the extra mile to give us some unique imagery beyond just Conan kicking a ball and “poking” Moore.

Koi wa Thrill, Shock, Suspense remains the most iconic Conan opening to me. Conan dancing and raving in the city at night as the police lights flash in the background and the cast of characters which by then rounded out to be the original core group of main characters (Heiji and Haibara)
Outside of that, I really enjoyed the Post-Akai and Bourbon era of openings especially Q&A, As the Dew, Try Again, and Teardrops. Q&A was a great final opening to the climax of the Bourban arc.
Greed and Dynamite are also really cool. General rule of thumb is you can never go wrong with B'z or Mai Kuraki.

Considering how hard they (TMS?) makes it for fans to find Detective Conan OPs and EDs on YouTube, I probably shouldn't poke a gift horse in the mouth (or however that saying goes), but I have a few critiques. When I was watching it yesterday, I originally thought the video was a fan creation that somehow survived the upload process because, unlike the official OP / ED compilation videos I've watched for other series, tiny mistakes kept standing out. To be fair, this video is waaaaaaaaay longer than a typical compilation, so editing must have been a nightmare. With that context, it's not too surprising that small things would fall through the cracks, but as a Detective Conan fan who wanted to relive pieces of the series on YouTube, kept finding videos, lost access to those videos every single time, and had no official alternative provided by TMS until just a few years ago, I feel like my pickiness is justified.
For example, some of the OPs and EDs begin a few seconds late or cut-off rather abruptly instead of playing the final 3 - 5 seconds of the song. Another example relates to the visuals. In the past, Detective Conan went through periods where new OPs reused footage from previous OPs and episodes instead of featuring new visuals. Occasionally, the "official" version simply wasn’t ready in time (I assume), so a temporary version of the new OP with 100% reused footage would be used until later in the season. I noticed that at least 2 of the OPs with "official" versions appear in this video as the temporary versions instead, so that's a shame. Lastly, and this is a really nitpicky complaint, I wish they'd labeled the songs as OP and ED, preferably with numbers. Including the song titles, artists, and timestamps was VERY helpful, but when there are so many songs over a span of 30 years, any information that can help you to navigate is valuable.
I'm super happy that they uploaded this video because, again, finding many of the older TV Size videos became impossible thanks to copyright take downs. There have been so many fan compilation and single OP/ED videos that I bookmarked which were taken down over the years, so I feel like this official compilation should have been perfect. It's the best we'll get, though, so I hope it stays up for a long, long time. [/rant]

While I can see where you're coming from, I actually kind of disagree because the premise kind of forces the Opening & Ending staff to get creative. Whenever I watch compilations of many Conan Openings & Endings like this I'm always struck by the huge variety of ways they tend to visualize certain themes of the show.
And I think that's the big thing for me: While Conan OP/EDs can sometimes become rather rote with standard sequences that showcase the characters, these moments are often times encapsulated among visual ideas of the OP/ED as whole with a central theme they want to convey, often tied in with the themes of the song itself.
It's part of why I consider the large collections of Opening & Endings in Detective Conan among the quintessential anime theme song videos. There're so much unique approaches and variety among them that I never truly get bored going back to any of them. (And all the great music certainly helps too, lol.)

I'm particularly fond of this era too, lol. I think visually a lot of stuff the OP/EDs were doing around that time matched the kind of aesthetics I loved to see in these Openings, while also doing a great job visually expressing the mysteries of the Bourbon arc.
Of course, the songs were all particularly great too.
Though I gotta admit it took a bit for Teardrops to grow on me, lol.

I didn't really notice many cases of this, outside of instances where the Opening cut out the sponsor card segment.
(Conan OP's are unique in that they tend to transition into the sponsor card while the song continues for an extra few seconds. While it's great to see that whole extension preserved, I can see why they sometimes aren't considered an actual part of the Opening.)

I know one of the OP's you're referring to is OP 55 "SLEEPLESS", but what's the other?
The only other Opening where I remember this situation being the case was for OP 45 "Lie, Lie, Lie", but this compilation actually used the proper finalized version of that one.
idk if it's the one you were referring to, but I do think the version of Opening 10 used is pretty egregious. Rather than what you described though, that was a situation where they just took it from the second episode in a Two-Part case, which would tend to recap with footage from the first part in the Openings in those days. So less a non-finalized version and more a "why would you take the OP from that episode...?"
Incidentally, something that I noticed was that Ending 2 used the version of "Meikyuu no Lovers" from before the band finalized the song's instrumentation, lol. It was only used for a couple of episodes in the series before the band had it fixed. Kinda awkward that this "beta" version is what ended up in the compilation, lol.

The constantly war with copyright of Detective Conan OPs and EDs on YouTube is why I made my own from the fansubs so I could play them locally
