Too bad there are no pics of at least the models.
But cool news anyways. There's been the usual sports shows but hardly any racing; though I'd like to see more shows involving street racing or sanctioned competition with private machines. |

Interesting... Wangan Midnight and Initial D have already been done. I wasn't aware that there was another racing-themed manga that was popular enough to spark an anime at this time. Perhaps it's a new original work?

"Subaru" is the name of the CG team working on the unannounced racing television anime, but it's unrelated to the Subaru car company. It doesn't necessarily mean that Subaru cars will appear in the anime. |

If it weren't for Hirohiko Araki's stance on anime based on his work, I'd hope that the "racing" in question might be horse racing and the anime might be Steel Ball Run. Oh god, I'd die of happiness.
As it is, I'm betting it's an original anime about car racing. |

Theirs a few racing mangas besides Wangan Midnight and Initial D. Also, there is a Porsche manga called My Favorite Carerra by Kia Asamiya serialized in Playboy. |
