Neo Geo Mini Game System's Japanese Version Launches on July 24

SNK announced on Friday that it will release the Japanese Version of the Neo Geo Mini system on July 24. On Amazon Japan, the pre-order retails for 12,420 yen (about US$113)
The system will have a "Japanese Version" (first picture below) for the Asian market and an "International Version" (second picture below) for North America, South America, Europe and other regions. The Japanese Version's color scheme evokes the original color scheme of the Japanese Neo Geo arcade cabinet, while the "International Version" features a more "modern" design.
Each system will have 40 games, and 14 of those games will differ in the two versions. The Japanese Version has more fighting games and the International Version has more action games. The International Version will launch at a later date.
The system will have a 3.5-inch liquid crystal display, and is powered by USB. The system can also connect to an external display with HDMI, as well as to headphones and two controllers.
