Plot Summary: Ebenezer Scrooge was an aging business man who was known throughout the town as being a very stingy miser. So stingy that he under pays his clerk Bob Cratchit, declines to make any donations to a charity, and despises the holiday of Christmas as an excuse for reckless spending. However on the night of Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his dead business partner Jacob Marley. Marley warns Scrooge to change his ways or be punished in the afterlife for the greed that has consumed Scrooge’s mind. Scrooge regarded the whole encounter with his dead partner to be utter madness and prepares to go to bed. Only to have additional encounters with three additional ghosts in which each of them try to make Scrooge realize the error in his ways.
