Ken and Ryu take a boat up the Ganges river, seeking the village where a man name Dhalsim lives. When they arrive, they ask Dhalsim to teach them about "Hadou." That night, a group of thieves enter the village temple to steal its treasure, ignoring local legend that a monster guards it.

Ryu and Ken are ordered by the robbers to capture the treasure inside the village temple. Experiencing a strange illusion as they enter, the ground flashes and Guardian King images appear before each of them. Ken and Ryu fight desperately, but the Guardian Kings are very strong.
