Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie's Trailer Streamed

The Japanese film and television production Toei Company began streaming a 73-second trailer for Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie, the newest live-action Super Sentai film on December 25.
The film is related to the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger live-action television series, which Toei began airing as Super Sentai's 35th anniversary show last February. The various Super Sentai projects provide source material for the international Power Rangers franchise.
Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie differs from the previous three Super Sentai VS films because it is a crossover with the Space Sheriff Gavan live-action special effects series. The story begins when Space Sheriff Gavan travels to Earth to capture the Gokaigers. However, Gavan Bootleg captures and imprisons him. The Gokaigers decide to rescue Gavan and fight beside the sheriff to defeat this new enemy.
Kenji Ohba will reprise is role as Retsu Ichijouji and his secret identity Space Sheriff Gavan. Shojiro Nakazawa is directing the film produced by Takaaki Utsunomiya, and Naruhisa Arakawa is writing the script. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie will premiere in Japan on January 21.
