Little Busters! Anime to Reprise Visual Novel's Songs

Adaptation of Key's game to feature Rita's "Little Busters!," "Alicemagic"

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Key's Little Busters! visual novel revealed this week that the series will feature Rita's opening theme song "Little Busters!" and ending theme song "Alicemagic" from the original game.

Yoshiki Yamakawa (Baby, Please Kill Me!, Hatsukoi Limited) will direct the anime at the studio J.C. Staff off scripts by Michiru Shimada (Jewelpet Twinkle, Shugo Chara!). Haruko Iizuka (Inu X Boku Secret Service, Ōkami-san & Her Seven Companions) will design the characters. Key also revealed that the series will closely adhere to the game's original story, and that no anime-only characters will be added.

Tomoe Tamiyasu (Recorder and Randsell) will voice the heroine Rin Natsume, and Hikaru Midorikawa (Fate/Zero, Brave10) will play her older brother and the Little Busters! group leader Kyousuke Natsume. The game's main cast members are reprising their roles for the adaptation.

Key, an adult game brand of Visual Art's, released the original romance adventure game for personal computers in 2007, and it has since been ported to the PlayStation 2 and PSP platforms. The Japanese software company Prototype released the PS Vita version on March 22.
