Busou Shinki TV Anime's Cast to Sing Opening Theme

The official website for the Busou Shinki television series announced on Saturday that the anime's lead cast will perform the opening theme. Kana Asumi, Minori Chihara, Kaori Mizuhashi, and Megumi Nakajima will perform the opening "Install x Dream" as their characters Ann (Arnval), Hina (Strarf), Aines (Altines), and Lene (Altlene).
Slam Dunk composer Tetsuro Oda is contributing to the theme songs and soundtrack.
The slice-of-life battle story is set in a future that has neither World War III nor an alien invasion — just an ordinary future set after our current age. In this world, robots are part of everyday life, and they contribute in various aspects of society. "Shinki" are 15-centimeter-tall (about 6-inch-tall) cute partners made to assist humans. Equipped with intelligence and emotions, they devote themselves to serving their "Masters."
Konami's series of armed female figures already inspired video games and a net anime before this upcoming television series. The show will premiere on the Japanese television station TBS on October 4. The opening theme will go on sale on October 17 along with a separate CD single for the ending theme — even though the title and artist of the ending theme have not been revealed yet.
