New iOS Petite Rock Shooter Game Announced

The Japanese game maker Imageepoch has announced that they plan to release Petite Rock Shooter: Sexy Wakusei no Nazo o Oe (Petite Rock Shooter: Pursue the Mystery of the Sexy Planet), a new iOS game featuring the "Petite Rock Shooter" variation of the Black Rock Shooter character. In the game, players flick the screen in order to shoot at enemies, including giant bosses who guard the secret of the Sexy Planet who react when players attack their weak points.
The game, which is due out later this month, is free to download, but also features avatar customization features including items that players can pay for. The illustrator CHANxCO is responsible for the Petite Rock Shooter character.
Another smartphone game based on the Petite Rock Shooter character, Maya-tan no Chikyuu Metsubou Nikki (The Maya-tan's World Downfall Diary), in which players raise cosplay-loving "Petite Hunters" in order to save the world from a Mayan prophecy. The title will also be available on the iOS platform, and is slated for a September release.
A browser-based Petite Rock Shooter game was released on the Nico Nico Douga website earlier last year.
