Japan Recruiting Young Filipino Anime Fans For Exchange Program

Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is giving 23 Filipino anime fans, aged 18 to 30, the chance to visit Japan as part of their latest youth exchange program. Aimed at those interesed in manga, anime, and cosplay, the 10-day JENESYS 2.0 program, organized jointly by the Japan Information and Culture Center and the Japan International Cooperation Center, will focus on Japanese pop culture, and include a trip to the Anime Japan 2014 anime festival.
The deadline to submit an application is January 31. Those interested in check out the Embassy of Japan's website for more information. 2014 marks the fifth year of the program.
