Next Evangelion:3.0+1.0 Project's … Logo Unveiled
posted on by Kyle Cardine
After the Japanese airing of Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo (Evangelion Shin Gekijō-ban Q Quickening) ended on Friday, images appeared which included the text "Next" and "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0." The airing provided no further information, although the official website for the new Evangelion film series then updated with the same logo for the fourth installment.

A similar "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0" image appeared at Kamakura's Bonbori Fesitval in August. The phrase "Muzai Genten" (literally, "there is no origin"), apparently written by director Hideaki Anno, appeared on a paper lantern along with "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 etc."
Eleven Arts and FUNimation Entertainment screened the theatrical print of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo in theaters across the United States and Canada in January.
The third film in Hideaki Anno and Khara's four-part remake of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series earned more than 5.1 billion yen during its theater run. While the first film hewed closely to the original television series, the second film went in a different direction, and the third film went still further in its own storyline.
