Durarara Outfits Add a Bit of Flair to the Streets

Ikebukuro's greatest enemies inspire a new line of street clothes

Durarara!! has always had unique street style. From character designs to plot to background music, the entire product conveys a certain flair that makes it well-loved by many fans. In order to pay homage to that sense of urban sophistication, as well as prepare for the upcoming second series, the anime-inspired designers at SuperGroupies have unveiled their new line of Durarara!! apparel. Based off the ever stylish Izaya Orihaya and Shizuo Heiwajima, these two new sets of outfits are sure to have heads turning whenever you hit the town.

First up, for those who want to get in touch with their inner city devil, SuperGroupies has designed a purple parka modeled after everyone's favorite information broker, Izaya Orihaya. The half sleeves show off Izaya's signature pocket knife, while the main body of the jacket hosts a field of enticing flowers. Of course, anything that Izaya brings to the table is going to cost a pretty penny. As such, this shadowy zip-up jacket is going to cost any buyer a decent sum of 8,500 yen (about US $80).

In case you can't quite meet the price tag on the full parka, SuperGroupies has put out a way to rep Izaya's sharp and deadly edge in the big city. For 1,800 yen (about US $16.94), you can don Izaya's favorite accessory in the form of a fashionable necklace.

Of course, wherever Izaya is to be found, Shizuo Heiwajima is close on his trail. And while Shizuo may be strong enough to pull light posts out of the ground, nobody can deny that the strongest man in Ikebukuro is also one of the district's most stylish. To bring out your herculean bartender, SuperGroupies has made this comfortable see through shirt and and tank top combo. The pale yellow outer shirt complements the cool color scheme of the teal tanktop, which also sports Shizuo's favorite bowtie around the hem. This shirt combo will be on sale for 9,800 yen (about US $92.22) a price befitting such luxury.

If, however, you prefer bowties to remain around your neck, SuperGroupies has also made this simple Shizuo Heiwajima bowtie necklace, suitable for just about any occassion. Shizuo's most prized neckpiece can be yours for a total of 1,800 yen (about US $16.94).

All of these items are currently available for pre-order on SuperGroupies' web store, alongside their numerous other anime-inspired lineups.
