Cardcaptor Sakura Gets Its Own Newspaper

Card Captor Sakura will get its own newspaper, Card Captor Sakura Serial Newspaper. Fans can get a sneak peek at the Takara Tomy booth at the International Tokyo Toy Show, to be held June 9-12 at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center (although general admission is June 11 & 12); it will be distributed for free. Visitors will also be greeted at the booth by Kero. Details about the newspaper's contents and format remain lacking at this time. Perhaps it will divulge the secrets of the Clow? Expect the unexpected now!
The newspaper is part of a 20th anniversary revival of the Card Captor Sakura franchise. Nakayoshi launched a sequel of the manga on June 3, which shows Sakura and her friends in middle school. The same issue also announced a revival of the anime.
