Takashi Murakami Produces Animated Music Video for Billie Eilish Song

Singer Billie Eilish debuted an animated music video for her single "you should see me in a crown" on Monday. The video was created by contemporary artist Takashi Murakami (Superflat Monogram, 6HP - Six Hearts Princess) and his Poncotan animation studio.
Eilish tweeted part of the music video on Monday. It can be watched in full via the Apple Music app or purchased on iTunes for US$1.99.

Murakami directed the video with key animation and costume design by mebae (C – Control – The Money and Soul of Possibility). Yasufumi Soejima (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime series) was the video's art director.
Eilish is an 18-year-old American singer and songwriter. Her songs "Bored" and "Lovely" were featured in Netflix's 13 Reasons Why and "When I Was Older" is included on the album Music Inspired by the Movie Roma.
