All About Japan Anime

New Anime Reference Book available in Japanese
The Takarajimasha Publishing company has published a book entitled "All About Japan Anime", subtitled "85 years of History" by the "all about Japan-Anime Committee". All About Japan Anime looks as if it contains information about every Anime produced since 1917 when the first 3 short Japanese Animated films were produced.
The Book features commentary by Anime greats such as Katsuhiro Ōtomo (Akira, Metropolis), Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service), Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor) and Hideaki Anno (Evangelion, Kare Kano) as well as commentary by famous foreign directors Luc Besson (France, Nikita, Yamakasi) and Steven Spielberg (USA, Star Wars, A.I.).
The Book, which is only available in Japanese at the moment, sells for 1143 Yen and features over 300 Full Color photos.
