Rik Wall announced Akitaroh Daichi and Hiroshi Nagahama as Guests of Honor to next year's SakuraCon. SakuraCon will take place April 4th-6th in Seattle, Washington. Check for more info!

Sakura Con 2003 is proud to announce Anime Creator and Director Akitaroh Daichi as our first Japanese Guest Of Honor. Mr. Daichi is the Creator of such successful show as Elf Princess Rane, Jubei-chan The Ninja Girl, and most reciently Now and Then Here and There and Carried By the Wind Tsukikaze Ran. Mr. Daichi is also know for the direction on such hits as Kodomo No Omocha (Child's Toy), Akazukin Cha Cha (Little Red Riding Hood Cha Cha), Nurse Angel Ririka, and most reciently the runaway hit Fruits Basket which has just been released here in North America.

Sakura Con 2003 is proud to announce the return of Anime Director and Designer Hiroshi Nagahama to Sakura Con as Returning Japanese Guest of Honor. Mr. Nagahama is known for his design work on many titles such as The Cockpit (Mecha Design), and Revolution ary Girl Utena TV series (Concept Design, Mecha Design, Animation Director), Revolutioary Girl Utena The Movie (Mecha Design). Mr. Nagahama has also done animation work on titles like Battle Angel and Bio Hunter. His most has been with long time friend Akitaroh Daichi on titles like Jubei-chan: Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch (Assistant Director), Now and Then, Here and There (Storyboard, Assistant Director) and Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoiyo Masaru-san (Storyboard, Assistant Director,Animation Director) Mr. Nagahama's most current works are the runaway hit Fruits Basket (Storyboard, Assistant Director, Opening and Closing Animation Animator) which has just been released here in North America and Samurai Deeper Kyo (Opening animator, Package Cover Design) which is currently on air in Japan.
