Bee Train Animating Children's Book Series

Bee Train has been tapped to animate a 52-episode TV-series adaptation of Tedd Anasti and Patsy Cameron-Anasti's children book series - Spider Riders.

Canadian entertainment and licensing firm Cookie Jar Entertainment (Formerly known as Cinar) partnered with Bee Train and Yomiko Advertising to produce the action series aimed at boys 9-13.

The series is currently in production with the first episode expected for previewing in January 2006 and the entire series completed and delivered in 2007.

Olga Romero of Cookie Jar Entertainment said of Spider Riders, "It has a Western feel but the Japanese animé look."

Thanks to Bill Trainor for this item.
