Follow Up: Shigurui Air Dates Announced

Japanese cable network WOWOW has announced the air dates for Shigurui (Death Addict), the television anime version of Takayuki Yamaguchi's violent historical manga. The series, which will be rated "R-15" because of content, will officially debut on Thursday, July 19 at 11:30 p.m. WOWOW will also air a special preview show about the anime on its annual "free" day, July 1, when the channel can be viewed by cable and satellite viewers even if they do not have a WOWOW subscription.
Shigurui will be directed by Hiroshi Hamasaki and produced by Madhouse Studios. Source: Animate TV
