Broccoli Plans "New Type of Book" for English Disgaea

Broccoli Books Director of Operations Shizuki Yamashita indicated during a FanimeCon 2007 panel that the company is planning to release "a new type of book" based on the Disgaea fantasy role-playing game, with a strong emphasis on "text." Official announcements will be forthcoming. MediaWorks' Dengeki Bunsho and Enterbrain's Famitsu Bunsho have published 13 volumes of Disgaea and Disgaea 2 text novels in Japan. Broccoli has already translated and published manga volumes and an artbook for Disgaea in North America.
