Appleseed: Ex Machina Slated by Warner Home Video in 2008

Warner Home Video announced that it licensed the worldwide home video and television rights (excluding Japan) for the Appleseed movie sequel, Ex Machina. It is planning a 2008 release on DVD and an unspecified "high definition format disc." It is also planning simultaneous standard versions and two-disc collectors' sets. The film adaptation of Masamune Shirow's future paramilitary police manga features director Shinji Aramaki (MADOX-01, Megazone 23 Part III) and executive producer John Woo.
