Shinobi, Initial D Live-Action Films to Air on AZN TV

The AZN Television network announced that it is premiering the SHINOBI live-action film on September 13 and the Initial D live-action film on September 20. Both films will have a 7:00 p.m. ET showing, followed by a midnight repeat and several later showings. Futaroh Yamada's The Kouga Ninja Scrolls novel of feuding ninja clans inspired the 2005 SHINOBI film, as well as the Basilisk - The Kouga Ninja Scrolls manga and anime. The Initial D film is a 2005 Hong Kong live-action adaptation of the car racing manga by Shuuichi Shigeno that also inspired several anime projects.
