News New York Anime Fest to Host Voice Actress Rie Tanaka

New York Anime Festival 2008 has announced that popular voice actress Rie Tanaka will attend the September 26-28 event at New York City's Jacob Javitz Center. Tanaka has voiced dozens of anime roles, including Lacus Clyne in Gundam Seed, Chii in Chobits, and Sugintou in Rozen Maiden. She also appeared in games such as Persona 3 and Luminous Arc 2 Will. She sang songs for Chobits, Gundam Seed, Steel Angel Kurumi, and several other series. At New York Anime Festival, Tanaka will appear at a question-and-answer session, sign autographs, and perform some songs to open the convention's World Cosplay Summit Masquerade.
