Precure All Stars Movie to Open in Japan Next Spring

The official Japanese website for the Precure anime movies has announced that a special fifth-anniversary feature film will open in Japan next spring. The tentatively titled Precure All Stars film will assemble the casts from all five of the Precure magical girl television anime series to mark the occasion. Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! Okashi no Kuni no Happy Birthday, the movie based on the ongoing Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! television series (pictured at right), just opened last weekend at #2 at the Japanese box office.
The Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai has indirectly revealed that a sixth Precure television anime series will premiere on February 1, 2009, after it sent retail solicitations for several items tied to the "New Precure (Precure Follow-up)" program.
