Cencoroll Science-Fiction Anime's TAF Trailer Posted

The official website for Atsuya Uki's Cencoroll science-fiction anime has posted an updated 90-second trailer online. The same trailer ran during last month's Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF). Cencoroll's story begins when a giant monster sends a town's citizens into a panic — except for a girl named Yuki and her acquaintance Tetsu. Tetsu happens to have his own strange creature named Cenco as a pet. Another boy appears in the town and controls the monster threatening the people, and the stage is set for a battle.
According to the sponsors Aniplex and Anime Innovation Tokyo, Uki directed, wrote, designed, and animated the project himself. The Excite Anime News site reported that Aniplex will release the anime in 2009, although the release format has yet to be announced.
