Rookies: Graduation drops to #2 to make way for Terminator Salvation
Rookies: Graduation (Rookies ~Sotsugyō-), Yūichirō Hirakawa's theatrical finale to his live-action television drama adaptation of Masanori Morita's Rookies baseball manga, dropped to #2 on Kogyo Tsushinsha's Japanese box office chart during the June 13-14 weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, it earned the equivalent of US$8,278,440 on 428 screens during its third weekend for a gross-to-date of US$50,302,149. Kogyo Tsushinsha's new #1 was MCG's Terminator Salvation film.
