Konohana's Kazumi Told to Edit Manga's Erotic Content
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Manga creator Yoshiyuki Kazumi (Matsumoto Drill Kenkyūjo) wrote in a January 5 blog entry that the latest rough drafts of his current manga, Konohana, have been rejected by his editor for being too erotic. The manga runs in Akita Shoten's Champion RED Ichigo manga anthology. Yoshiyuki also wrote on his blog that his editor told him the “guys on top” are monitoring the magazine, and so Yoshiyuki has to cut back on the erotic content of his manga.
Champion RED Ichigo is also publishing the manga Vita Sexualis from My-Hime and My-Otome creator Hiroyuki Yoshino, and Masahiro Itosugi's Aki Sora "line-crossing" manga. Past titles included Akihito Yoshitomi's Blue Drop ~Tenshi no Itazura~, a part of the Blue Drop ~Tenshi no Bokura~ prequel to the Blue Drop manga.
Currently, anyone of any age can purchase Champion RED Ichigo in Japan.
