Inubaka: Crazy for Dogs Manga Ends in Japan

22-volume series spawned English release from Viz, live-action film in Japan

Manga creator Yukiya Sakuragi ended her Inubaka: We're Crazy for Dogs manga in the May issue of Monthly Young Jump magazine last Wednesday. The story centers around Suguri, a girl who has a mysterious knack for dealing with all kinds of dogs at a pet shop.

The manga launched in Weekly Young Jump in 2004, and the 22nd and final compiled book volume will ship in Japan next month. Viz Media will publish the 16th volumes in July (under the English title Inubaka: Crazy for Dogs). The actress Suzanne starred in Jun Yoriko's live-action film adaptation of the manga last November.
