Musashino-sen no Shimai Seinen Manga Gets Film

The official website of Flex Comix has announced this month that production on a theatrical film adaptation of Yukiwo's Musashino-sen no Shimai (Sisters of Musashino LINE) seinen manga has been green-lit. The story revolves around the everyday life of two beautiful sisters, Ranko "Ran" and Hikaru "Pandora" Midorikawa, who live idle, carefree lives in a high-end apartment complex in Saitama Prefecture west of Tokyo. The two love Lolita fashion and travel often to Tokyo's Akihabara and Shibuya shopping districts.
The manga has been running in the Flex Comix Next anthology on the Yahoo! Comic website since 2008, and the second book volume was compiled and published this past April. (It launched on Yahoo! Comic's Flex Comix Blood in 2007.) Flex Comix's website does not specify if the film is live-action or animated, but it promises that more information will be revealed soon.
